Division Order Analyst

The Division Order Analyst provides technical and administrative support to landmen and TEP’s accounting staff by verifying ownership information, preparing oil and gas agreements, organizing and filing land files and related correspondence, and preparing regular reports.

  • Review and analyze title documents to calculate Company’s working interest and net revenue interest and set up new revenue and JIB decks
  • Research, analyze and maintain owner records of working interest and royalty ownership, including updating revenue and JIB decks as necessary
  • Process ownership changes such as interest sales, heirships, adjustments due to supplemental title opinions, etc. and any resulting necessary adjustments to prior payments
  • Review and maintain revenue suspense, including ensuring appropriate escheat requirements are met
  • Correspond with owners for revenue discrepancies or inquiries
  • Communicate with land and accounting departments to ensure working interest and royalty payments are made timely
  • Utilize all software applications needed to produce required end-product spreadsheets, maps and PowerPoint
  • Research and process federal, state and other state agency reports or requests
  • Assist Land Staff as requested to complete special projects, acquisition and divestures.
  • Prepare and Review Intermediate Land Calculations acreage figures, MI, WI/NRI, ORRI
  • Examine land files to determine ownership interest in company lands
  • Assist Land Staff as requested to complete special projects, acquisition and divestures
  • Use Pangaea data, Oseberg, DrillingInfo, and other common oil and gas databases and platforms to create reports and monitor activity
  • This position does assist with general administration at Titanium

Job Qualifications

  • 4 Year Degree in Energy Management or related field of study strongly preferred
  • 2-5 years of oil and gas division order, lease administration, or land technician experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of oil and gas leases, JOAs and other oil and gas agreements
  • Knowledge of title standards for Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico
  • Communicate effectively
  • Experience with Bolo and/or OGSYS is preferable
  • Must be proficient with MS Office; experience with DrillingInfo, Oseberg, Texas RRC website, online title plants (OK County Records) a plus
